MIE Tasters & Tours

Saturday, April 13th, from 10.00 - 2.00

Marino Institute of Education would like to invite prospective students and their families to our "Taster and Tours" event that is taking place on Saturday April 13th from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Prospective students will have the opportunity to take a taster class in modules delivered on our Education Studies, Early Childhood Education and Bachelor in Education (Primary Teaching), course both through the medium of English and through the medium of Irish. We hope that these taster classes will give you a flavour of what it will be like to study at MIE.

A panel of student ambassadors will be available on the day to talk about the courses they are studying on, what it is like to be a student in MIE, and to answer any questions you or your parent(s)/guardian(s) may have. Our student ambassadors will also be on hand to show you around our beautiful campus.

There will be talks from our Access Officer (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) about HEAR, DARE and mature pathways and also about the student support services that are available to students in MIE.

If you are interested in taking one of our taster classes, you must register for the taster that you are interested in. Class sizes are limited and places offered on a first-come first-served basis. The day will be split into two identical sessions, morning 10.00 - 12.00 and afternoon 12.00-2.00. You are welcome to attend for the whole day or just attend the taster class or take a tour or attend the talks, whatever suits your schedule.
