Loan Allowances
Loan periods are determined by the category of borrower and the collection of the item.
Short loans can only be borrowed for a period of 7days with no renewal possible.

Fines
Fines are calculated for each day the library is open.
Fines for overdue:
• long loans €0.20c per day
• Short loans and equipment (Dictaphone, Teaching kit,...) 5€ per day
How to pay your fines?
• At the Library desk, by card (with the exception of American Express) and phone payment only.
• The Finance Office accepts payment by card (with the exception of American Express) over the phone. Please forward your receipt for payment to [email protected]
Students who have incurred fines through illness may have all or part of the fines waived on production of a signed certificate from a registered medical practitioner. Only fines for the period covered by the certificate will be waived.
Please note that examination results may be withheld if there are overdue items and or fines outstanding on your Library account.
