Applications for the September 2025 intake have reopened.
Applications for the PME will close at 5.00PM on Friday 6th of June 2025.
Eligible applicants who submit an application for the 6 June deadline will be called to interview in June 2025.

Marino Institute of Education intends to offer a pathway on its 2025-2027 PME entirely through the medium of Irish. This option will be of particular interest to those who wish to teach in a Gaelscoil or a Gaeltacht school.
In order for this pathway to proceed, a minimum number of students will need to choose it as their first preference.
If you are applying for the PME or the PME through Irish you can complete the form in English or Irish, whichever is your preference, when applications open.
Please note: If you are interested in pursuing this route, you must apply for the TEG B1 full exam.
This full exam is due to take place on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of February in a number of different locations. PME applications must achieve a minimum of 65% on this exam. For more information please go to www.teg.ie.
