Welcome to the website for the National Early Childhood Conference (NECC) 2026. The NECC Annual Conference 2026 will take place on the 17th of April 2026 on the Marino Institute of Education campus in Dublin, Ireland.

The 2026 conference will focus on Marking 30 Years of Child Care Regulations in Ireland. Conference themes include:

• Policy: Governance, funding models, and frameworks shaping early childhood education. 
• Pedagogical Practices: Innovative teaching strategies, curriculum design, and inclusive approaches. 
• Professional Agency: Empowering educators through leadership, advocacy, and reflective practice. 
• Partnerships: Collaborative models between families, communities, and institutions. 
• Transitions: Supporting children and families through key developmental and educational transitions.
